Global Finance & Business Management (\xe2\x80\x9cGF&BM\xe2\x80\x9d) India is a combined LOB-aligned (Line of Business-aligned) finance & business support team located in India and is part of JPMorgan\'s global capability center (GCC). We are part of the Office of the CFO (OCFO) organization within JPMorgan, which has 13000+ people across the globe, majority of whom are tasked with managing the firm\'s Finance function, responsible for reporting quarterly earnings and complying with regulatory requirements along with managing the firm\'s capital.

GF&BM India was established in September 2002 and currently we have a network of more than 3400+ professionals based out of our Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad offices who support four main \xe2\x80\x9cpillars\xe2\x80\x9d of work - Controllers, Planning & Analysis, Finance Operations and Business Client & Products. The teams in India are aligned to the respective LOBs that they support which include Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB), Commercial Banking (CB), Consumer and Community Banking (CCB), Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) and Corporate/Firmwide functions.

The current opening is within the D&PS P&A in Mumbai which forms part of the CIB LOB within GF&BM India.

About the Team

The CIB DPS (Digital & Platform Services) team provides oversight and support for JPMC\'s Corporate & Investment Banking DPS Group, a $6B organization that partners with all business lines in the CIB and firm-wide to support the Tech & Ops and Operation groups.

About the Role

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ownership of month end closing for CIB Tech & Ops P&A activities.
• Expense and headcount reporting against plan/ outlook, variance analysis, tracking movements across functions/ individual business.
• Manage Capitalization and Amortization process entirely for DPS organization
• Support in preparing Executive Management Report (EMR)/ Financials Decks on monthly basis & during Budget cycles for CIB Tech & Ops and Senior Management teams.
• Effective engagement with CIB Tech & Ops F&BMs & Central teams for understanding business drivers & Indirect Allocations
• Support on monthly forecast, mid-year outlook and annual budgeting exercise and other ad-hoc reporting/ analysis
• Supporting in tracking and managing key DPS initiatives e.g. location strategy, expense reduction program, Productivity etc
• Provide support for management reviews and value added analytics

Desired Candidate Profile:

Qualifications

Chartered Accountant / MBA in finance with at least 8-10 years of working experience in financial planning, forecasting and variance/ trend analysis will be preferred

Competencies / skills required

• Experience in Banking / financial services industry and working with global stake-holders
• Strong excel and MS office skills
• Good knowledge of financial systems like Paragon, Cognos etc.
• Ability to work independently & also provide oversight & direction to team/colleagues
• Strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, proven track record of working well within teams and ability to interact with people at different levels and across countries
• Strong attention to detail in supporting management reporting with clear and concise data analysis and presentation
• Experience in QlikView / Tableau for management reporting would be an added advantage
• Excellent Excel skills; knowledge in Macros and financial modeling would be an advantage

Shift Timing: It will be UK shift (1/2 PM to 10/11 PM IST)
