Vedanta's Sesa Goa Business caters to the requirements of the Iron & Steel supply chain. We produce Iron Ore, Pig Iron and Coke. It comprises of Iron Ore Goa, Iron Ore Karnataka, Iron Ore Odisha, Value Added Business, Sesa Cement and Sesa Coke - Gujarat & Maharashtra. The Sector has a unique competitive advantage of having operations in 5 States.
Iron Ore Mines at Barbil, Odisha is a step poised towards ramping up of our Iron Ore mining business. The business has two mines (Fee Grade and BICO) with a joint capacity to operate at around 6 MTPA and provides both Raw Material security to ESL as well as being a significant Merchant Mining company in both Domestic and Export markets.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Ensuring Management in Place, Performance oriented Culture, benchmarking of best people practices with focus on employee wellness and enhanced Productivity targets
Will be responsible for managing end to end HR Processes for the SBU including manpower numbers, cost, productivity, benchmarking and automation
Championing Business Partner Capability by complying to the Framework requirements Right MIP and its tracking, entry level qualifications, skill assessment, leadership engagement with top business partners and grievance management
Ensuring 100% achievement of BP consolidation targets as jointly driven by HR & Commercial - Harmonizing entry level terms and conditions at Contract level to ensure proactive approach and enhancement of diversity deployment
Ensuring all Digital solutions are in place to enhance HR efficiency - for both Direct and Indirect employees
Ensuring Business Risk Management by ensuring all legal compliances, maintaining adequate Stakeholder connects to ensure peaceful industrial relations scenario and Business continuity
To support in creating a workplace that respects & values all employees & promote a culture of fostering innovation
Capability building with impetus on Operational Excellence, Digital & Innovation prowess
Qualification & Experience:
MBA/MSW HR with 12+ years of relevant experience.
