Job Summary:
The Chinese Chef is responsible for preparing and cooking Chinese dishes according to the restaurant's standards. The chef ensures the food is of high quality, presented well, and served in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook Chinese dishes as per recipes and quality standards.
Ensure hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in the kitchen.
Assist in ordering ingredients and managing stock.
Supervise and guide kitchen staff.
Maintain consistency in taste and presentation.
Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines.
Help develop new dishes and menu items.
Requirements:
Prior experience in Chinese cuisine is preferred.
Good knowledge of cooking techniques and ingredients.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with good communication skills.
