We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chinese Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will specialize in authentic Chinese cuisine, demonstrating expertise in traditional cooking techniques, regional flavors, and modern presentation. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional food quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a wide variety of Chinese dishes including Sichuan, Cantonese, Hunan, and other regional specialties.
Develop and update menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet high standards.
Monitor kitchen inventory and order supplies as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
Train and supervise junior kitchen staff.
Collaborate with management on food cost control and kitchen efficiency.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and kitchen protocols.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Chinese Chef or in a similar role.
Deep knowledge of Chinese culinary traditions, ingredients, and techniques.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple orders efficiently.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Culinary certification or formal training preferred.
