Job Description

The Chinese CDP is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting Chinese cuisine according to company standards. The role requires strong knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques, ingredients, and food safety practices.

Key Responsibilities



Prepare and cook Chinese dishes following standard recipes and presentation guidelines. Assist in menu preparation and contribute new ideas for Chinese cuisine. Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and prepared on time. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation at all times. Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards. Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Monitor food stock levels and report shortages to the supervisor. Support junior staff and help train new team members when required. Handle kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance issues.

Requirements



Previous experience as a CDP or DCDP in Chinese cuisine. Strong knowledge of Chinese ingredients, cutting techniques, sauces, and cooking methods (e.g., wok cooking, steaming, roasting). Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Good communication and teamwork skills. Understanding of HACCP and general kitchen safety. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
