Position: Chief Structural Engineer/ Underground Location: Surat About the Company: A Leading Company into Infrastructure projects. Qualification: P.G & BE /B Tech - Civil Experience: 25 Years +, Underground relevant Experience 7 Years + in Metro Projects Job Responsibilities: Engage with Client & GC - Lead the Design Delivery Ensure Team Leaders are working in coordinated way and design submissions are made on time to the expectations of the client Ensure Contractor Queries are addressed timely through efficient coordination with Team Leaders across teams Prepare Status update and present the same in bi-weekly progress meetings with Clients & GC Ensure to avoid abortive work to the design team and requirements of construction are fully coordinated Conduct internal meetings regularly and able to communicate effectively Able to make decisions at Site and instruct Team leaders as appropriate for production of Drawings Strong aquitaintance of codes of practices and standard design specifications as per industry standards - access the results and make reports Needed Design experience of various Structural elements - Rail Experience in Design of Viaduct, Elevated Stations & Depots Good ability to influence and obtain approvals from Clients Ensure Designs are done with value engineering and meet tender requirements Experience working at Construction Sites - Coordination with Civil Contractors including Alignment/Surveying experts, Geotechnical Consultants & Contractors, Utilities Diversion experts, Entry/Exit Structures, Architecture and MEP contractors.
