About the position

CSO is a professional who will manages and oversees the sales for all product categories, Business development and Marketing operations in an organization. CSO will be responsible for designing plans to meet targets, developing relationships with customers, and evaluating costs for selling products.

The role of a CSO is to manage all efforts by the company\'s entire sales team, strategically planning and launching new products while ensuring customer satisfaction. CSO will also continually find ways to motivate team members to boost morale and retention.

Responsibilities

- CSO responsibilities include developing key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans. Successful execution of these strategies is required to achieve your financial targets. Sales director duties will include hitting annual targets, building relationships and understanding customer trends

- Owning and hitting/exceeding annual sales targets across territory and accounts

- Developing and executing strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base

- Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships

- Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets and account

- Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives

- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations

- Understand category-specific landscapes and trends

- Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts

- Responsible for being aware about market intelligence (domestic & globally).

- Commercial and financial acumen with a full understanding of the impact of failure in terms of business cost, production schedules and customer order fulfilment

- Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions

Education

- Engineering Graduate/post graduate (Mechanical/Electrical/- ) from a reputed college/university

- MBA (02 years\' full time) will be added advantage

Professional Experience

- Proven working experience as a CSO (B2B) - 5-8 years (Total experience: 20 + years)

- Has worked in Europe/US for at least 2-4 years (Desirable)

- Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff

- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills

- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and Board level

- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close

- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products

- Proven ability to position products against competitors

- Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing customer-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions

- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills

- Excellent verbal and written communications skills

- Ardours /extensive travelling for the role
