CHIEF REVENUE OFFICER

REPORTING TO: CEO

LOCATION: Delhi/NCR

Background :

Organization in India has revamped its Commercial Organisation Structure to become an effective and fit-for-future organisation which will be more responsive to the fast changing business scenarios. With the objective of aggressively driving business growth, the Commercial Structure will be headed by Chief Revenue Officer who would be responsible for spearheading all the revenue functions.

SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The incumbent is expected to provide collective and individual counsel to the Managing Director and provide leadership to bring to fruition business growth utilizing India Business in rich repository of content, information, assets and analysis. She/He will be responsible for, amongst others, the following objectives:

- Formulation of strategy for Business & Revenue Streams

- Execution of Business Strategy through technology platforms

- Building out the right commercial, technology and product teams

- Scaling up of the platforms and revenue streams for sustainability

- Assessing financial performance and team performance

- Ownership & accountability of Annual Operating Plan

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

- Leadership Experience: A seasoned senior executive with strong sales, monetization and revenue leadership experience across a variety of operating/culture environments, with significant exposure to the Digital economy. Experience in Media/Content-driven businesses/Consumer services/Financial Services/Consumer/Hospitality/Retail or a technology- driven company is a plus.

- Strategic Ability: The ideal candidate will be a thoughtful, strategic executive who offers insight and added value to the company.

- Prior New Business Experience: Prior new business experience is a plus but not mandatory.

- Functional Expertise: The Company is seeking an executive with a strong digital background who has had substantial experience running or participating in running a traditional business that has undertaken a significant digital transformation. The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with responsibilities in a growth-oriented organization.

- Industry Experience: Solid experience in an industry with a consumer orientation, preferably having driven growth in a Consumer services or related company. Brings a solid understanding of multi-channel GTM models as well as an appreciation for operating in an industry that is highly competitive, fast changing and consumer driven.

- Diversity: The company is keen on seeking a diverse slate of best-in-class candidates for the role.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:

- The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader having held significant C-Suite, or just below C-Suite, responsibilities in an organization with a substantial growth strategy.

- Should have strong exposure in leading an Enterprise-wide Digital Transformation at a direct-to- consumer company with a view on creating new sustainable business and revenue lines.

- Should have experience leading brand marketing, the engagement of consumers directly, leading strategic and creative initiatives, exposure to launching new consumer products and services online that focus on commercial growth and customer stickiness.

- Should have deep and broad experience and knowledge in scalable indirect-marketing, digital marketing, affinity for product development, and a social media acumen- a proven track record of transformative success.

- Must be a seasoned executive with the maturity and commitment to participate in the stewardship of the company. Prior experience serving in this role is helpful, but not required.

AGE, EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATION:

- The desired candidate should be having 18 - 24 years of experience in the industry, age between 42 - 45 years.

- The ideal candidate should have a Master Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or an equivalent PGDM
