The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will oversee the operational functions of a renewable energy business, ensuring efficient processes and operational excellence. This role is based in Delhi NCR and focuses on strategic leadership and operational management within the renewable energy sector.

• Lead and oversee daily operational activities to ensure the smooth functioning of the renewable energy business.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve operational efficiency and meet organizational goals.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment with company objectives and industry standards.
• Analyze operational performance and implement improvements to enhance productivity and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards within the renewable energy sector.
• Manage budgets and resources effectively to optimize performance and achieve cost efficiency.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the operations team.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to department heads and employees to drive growth and development.
• Translate corporate strategy into actionable operational plans across all business units.
• Drive transformation, innovation, and sustainability initiatives to achieve long-term growth.
• Provide inputs to the Board and Group CEO on industry trends, risk assessments, and expansion opportunities.
• Manage overall P&L, resource allocation, and cost optimization.
• Ensure financial discipline and adherence to compliance frameworks.
• Lead contract negotiations, commercial discussions, and high-value client relationships.
• Provide strategic inputs for investment decisions and capital allocation.
• Build strategic alliances, partnerships, and joint ventures to strengthen market position.

• Minimum 20+ years of senior leadership experience in Energy, Renewables, Infrastructure, or Technology-led industries.
• Demonstrated experience in P&L management and stakeholder engagement at Board/Investor level.
• Proven track record in operational leadership roles within the renewable energy or related industry.
• Comprehensive understanding of the renewable energy sector and its regulatory environment.
• Excellent strategic planning and project management skills.
• Ability to lead and inspire teams in a high-pressure environment.
• Advanced negotiation, stakeholder, and partnership management.
• Strong financial acumen and decision-making capabilities.
• Strong exposure to global best practices, sustainability frameworks, and emerging technologies.
