Job Description

A leading Consumer Health company backed by global PE funds is looking for a COO to lead the charter of growth for the company. The successful candidate will work with the CEO and Board to develop strategic plans to advance the company's mission and objectives. More specifically -

- Play a leadership role in the company, providing strategic and management support to the CEO

- Participate in the development and preparation of short-term and long-range plans and budgets based on broad organizational goals and objectives.

- Be responsible for the P&L, drive overall sales and forecasting for the business

- Lead the Investor Relations function, along with the CFO and drive inorganic growth through M&A initiatives

- Manage budgeting and strategic planning including working with the CEO to implement operating policies

- Oversee the manufacturing piece which includes tracking manufacturing efficiency metrics monthly, assessing ESG performance, maintaining a robust supply chain function from procurement, warehousing and logistics, category management etc.

- Oversee and guide HR and legal compliances, financial controls and reporting

- Identify and execute new business initiatives

- Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape, opportunities for expansion, customers, markets and new sector development

Qualifications :

- 10+ years of experience at a health care related company

- Prior experience in sales and marketing is a must; strong preference for pharma (OTC/Prescription products) and medical devices

- Experience of working outside India, or of having worked with large global players in the consumer sector (OTC products), orthopedic or wound care players, distribution companies is a plus

- MBA from a top tier institute.

- Solid corporate finance experience; past experience in M&A deal execution strongly preferred. Prior experience in investor relations is an added advantage

- Documented success managing high achieving teams driving increasing sales.

- Strong presentation and communication skills.

- Proven track record of coaching and mentoring teams

- Strategic mindset and exposure to analytical decision-making processes
