Looking back, Rentomojo has not only made a new market of lease which never existed for the consumer, they have also become market leaders in the consumer rental industry. This role requires expertise in finance and public market investing, coupled with a strong background in Chartered Accountancy. As the Financial & Market Research Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing management reports, preparing the CEO for finance sync-ups and board meetings, and actively participating in finance monthly review meetings and daily sync-ups. A deep understanding of reviewing and modeling P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements, along with strong analytical acumen and proficiency in Excel, are essential for success in this position. Responsibilities And Ownership Management Reporting and Administration: Analyze finance management reports to derive critical financial insights, including budget reviews, expense tracking, and revenue forecasting, to provide valuable insights and recommendations to the founder. Monitor financial KPIs and key performance trends, identifying areas of improvement and potential risks, and reviewing the model. Monitor the financial performance of various business units and projects, providing regular updates and reports to the executive team. Analyze financial data to assess the impact of business decisions and proposed initiatives, facilitating well-informed decision-making. Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure seamless finance sync-ups, providing data and analysis for productive discussions. Minute and track the finance-related sync-ups, create MOM on critical actions, and ensure follow-through and completion. Networking and Relationship Management Identify leads and opportunities from the market, enabling the founder to meet with relevant people from the ecosystem to build strong relationships. Efficiently manage the CEO\'s critical meeting schedule, ensuring all appointments, meetings, and events are impeccably organized. Work with the admin team to manage and plan for critical meetings, including working on the administrative arrangements with relevant team members and external stakeholders.. Market Research Analytics Research and recommend investments in the Public Market to maximize investment opportunities for the Founder. Assist the promoter in managing personal investments, structurings, and tax filings. Key Projects Lead or support key financial projects and initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising efforts, and process improvement projects. Financial Risk Management Collaborate with the risk management team to assess and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and accounting standards. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Your work till now will be the first qualification that would matter to us. Other than that, you should be: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a distinguished academic record. Qualified Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or pursuing CFA is a plus. Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in mutual fund portfolio analysis, with expertise in additions/deletions of public-listed stocks. Enthusiasm for public market investments and a solid understanding of financial markets. Personal experience in making investments in public markets from an early stage in your professional or academic journey. Demonstrated robust analytical acumen, capable of conducting in-depth financial analysis based on fundamental data. Proficiency in financial analysis tools like Excel/SQL. Strong organizational prowess and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks effectively. Unwavering attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work.
