Chief Manager - Cost

Location : Gurugram, India

Position Demands :

- Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience is a required.

- Min 4 to 6 years of experience in projects cost controls.

- Advanced Excel & MSP is essential.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities :

- Develop adequate procedures and processes for Cost Controls function to maintain efficient operational excellence.

- Review project drawings, specifications, BOQ's and other contract documents in order to prepare an accurate & comprehensive workable budget & cost control plan.

- Review project schedules in order to prepare an accurate cash flow and cash flow control plan.

- Ensure communicating with projects, procurement, engineering and finance functions during the preparation of detailed budget.

- Monitors regularly, the detailed budget and cash flow with reference to construction progress and forecast schedule.

- Preparing cost trending & forecasting analysis for project cost, cash flow intensity, 3 months rolling cash flow plans and communicating these to all related parties, highlighting concerns and heeds, recommending necessary measures, actions and methods.

- Preparing regularly, monthly reports and reviews of project cost performance, providing all concerned parties with regular feedback and advice.

- Participating in meetings for reviewing project progress and current cost position.

- Support commercial person in preparation & settlement of Extra claims from contractors (Developer works) and to clients (EPC works).

- Work with IT analysts / Systems Manager to drive automation and design new reports / processes that lead to simplification and enhanced business planning.

- Leverages industry best practices and continuous improvements to continually enhance cost management / controls processes.
