We are looking for experienced candidates for the position of Chef-Formulation & Designing / NPD for one of the largest suppliers and exporters of Processed Fruits and allied products from India, with an extensive global presence. Location Shimla Date of Interview Will be intimidated later Educational qualification Relevant Educational Experience Experience required :5 + Positions Chef-Formulation & Designing / NPD Tasks & Responsibilities Development of new food products Testing different recipes and maintain their flavor. Knowledge about consumer trends and passion about food. Formulating new recipes and improving existing ones which keep your company ahead of the competition

• Recommending new products and working with new product development staff to transform food concepts into viable products
• Liaising with colleagues in the commercial, production and technical departments
• Liaising with suppliers to ensure that your company is aware of new ingredients coming on to the market
• Identifying market niches and opportunities into which existing products could be adapted and new products developed
• Conducting consumer testing and taste panels for proposed new products
• Presenting new products to potential trade customers.
• Ensuring that potential new products can be manufactured profitability and meet food safety requirements
• Evaluating the success of new products in their markets
• Continuously researching the market and staying ahead of consumer trends

Skills required Experience in top quality restaurants and have a creative mind and the ability and passion to develop innovative products for the company. Able to develop recipes that can be made using food manufacturing processes whilst at the same time making sure that these recipes are innovative and creative. Understanding mass production techniques and machinery as well as the specific qualities and shelf-life of different ingredients as well as costings, technical issues and so on. A people person with good communication and influencing skills because he/she will be talking to a wide variety of people to get your ideas accepted \xe2\x80\x93 not only your work colleagues but suppliers and also potential customers. In many instances,he/she will be expected to meet tight deadlines so should be comfortable in high-pressure situations and able to work effectively. Salary package Based on experience and skills, could be offered a differential package.
