Job Description

Responsibilities As a Lead Infrastructure engineer you play a key role within Technology Infrastructure (TI), driving the maturity and autonomy of our Technology Scheduling Product support teams, as well as partnering with the Product Engineering Team to ensure alignment with Technology and Enterprise transformational initiatives and best practices.
The Technology Scheduling Product team is responsible for all job scheduling / workload automation in Wells Fargo technology across mainframe, cloud, and open systems platforms. Technology Scheduling plays a critical role within Wells Fargo Technology by automating routine tasks and application workflows to ensure the successful delivery of service levels.
Technology Scheduling is undergoing a transformation to support the firm's strategic initiatives. This includes supporting the firms cloud strategy, self-service automation, tool migrations and Agile / product transformation
Job Responsibilities

Perform installation and upgrades to scheduling software like Autosys/Control-M/IWS.
Partner with schedulers to support and enhance scheduling software along with associated utilities and toolsets.
Work with other LOB in a collaborative effort to help them migrate their scheduling jobs from legacy scheduling tools to new scheduling softwares.
Prepare a work plan, including estimates, for all migration assignments and report progress on a plan to team management.
Convert business requirements into detailed specifications. Prepare flowcharts, data flows, and other documents as required to illustrate the logical operations involved.
Code and debug batch and interactive programs based on application specifications.
Perform unit, system, integration, and regression testing. Detect syntax or logic errors during program testing. Revise programs as needed to correct errors.
Maintain knowledge of and adhere to firm standards and procedures.
Required to provide on-call / off-hour support on a rotating basis.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
8 years of engineering experience in one or more Job scheduling tools is preferred: Autosys, Control-M, IBM Workload Automation, HCL Workload Automation
Ability to configure REST API endpoints for different types of integrations like SNOW, Netcool, Ansible
5 years of recent systems engineering, software engineering, site reliability, or dev-ops experience in a medium to large scale production Linux or other UNIX environment
5 years' experience in industry standard CI/CD tools like Git/BitBucket/GitLab, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, Ansible, and Chef. Experience designing and implementing an effective and efficient CI/CD flow.
5 years' experience in developing innovative process automation and customer self-service
Education: Any Graduate
