Name -Chef Manager

A Chef cum Manager, also known as a Chef Manager, is a dual-role position requiring expertise in both culinary arts and restaurant management. This professional is responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and presentation, while also managing kitchen staff, inventory, and adhering to food safety standards. They also play a key role in menu development, cost control, and ensuring a positive dining experience for customers. Key Responsibilities:

Culinary Expertise:

Preparing and cooking a wide range of dishes, potentially including specialized cuisine like South Indian or Indian dishes. Developing and updating menus, potentially including creating new recipes and menu items. Ensuring consistent food quality, presentation, and adherence to recipes and standards. Monitoring food preparation processes to maintain high standards. Selecting and sourcing high-quality ingredients.

Management and Leadership:

Supervising and training kitchen staff, including junior chefs and cooks. Managing kitchen operations, including workflow and staffing schedules. Overseeing inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling costs. Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to safety and sanitation regulations. Collaborating with front-of-house staff and management to ensure smooth service.

Administrative and Operational:

Developing and implementing operational systems to ensure quality control and compliance. Monitoring kitchen equipment and arranging for maintenance or repairs. Implementing cost-control measures to minimize waste and optimize resources. Working with management to develop seasonal specialties and promotions.
Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role, with strong leadership and team management skills. Culinary expertise and knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software. Education in culinary arts or hospitality management is often preferred.

Pay: ?600,000.00 - ?700,000.00 per year
