Roles and Responsibilities:
Supervise a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., Continental, Chinese, Indian, Tandoor, or Bakery) and ensure smooth daily operations.
Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to brand standards and recipes.
Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
Train and guide Commis and junior staff in food preparation and kitchen procedures.
Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and hygiene according to FSSAI and safety guidelines.
Work closely with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef to develop new dishes and improve menu offerings.
Monitor portion and waste control to maintain cost efficiency.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen section at all times.
Coordinate effectively with service staff for smooth food service during peak hours.
Ensure consistency in food quality, especially during rush hours or bulk orders.
Key Skills Required:
Strong culinary knowledge in assigned cuisine section.
Excellent time management and leadership skills.
Understanding of hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
