- Chef (Bakery & Kitchen)
Position Title: Chef - Bakery & Kitchen
Department: Food & Beverage
Reporting To: F&B Manager / Operations Manager
Overall Roles & Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and execute bakery & kitchen menu items (cakes, pastries, breads, snacks, etc.) as per company standards.
Supervise kitchen staff, assign tasks, and ensure smooth operations.
Ensure quality, taste, hygiene, and presentation of all food products.
Monitor stock levels of raw materials and coordinate with the store/purchase department for timely replenishment.
Maintain compliance with food safety standards, hygiene, and cleanliness.
Train and mentor junior chefs, assistants, and kitchen helpers.
Assist in developing new recipes and menu innovations to attract customers.
Control wastage, manage portioning, and monitor cost efficiency.
Key Skills Required
Expertise in bakery and confectionery (cakes, breads, pastries, desserts).
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food hygiene standards.
Ability to manage a team under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Creativity in recipe development and presentation.
Good communication and leadership skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ?21,000.00 - ?32,000.00 per month
