Job Description

Food Preparation and Cooking:

Preparing and cooking South Indian dishes according to established recipes and quality standards, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.

Menu Knowledge and Execution:

Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, and presentation standards.

Quality Control:

Ensuring the quality and quantity of food prepared meets the required standards.

Hygiene and Safety:

Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations.

Inventory Management:

Assisting with inventory management, stock rotation, and ensuring proper food storage.

Staff Supervision:

Supervising and coordinating the activities of junior kitchen staff, potentially including training and mentoring.

Menu Development:

Contributing to the creation of new menu items and specials.

Equipment Operation:

Operating and maintaining kitchen equipment properly.

Communication:

Communicating effectively with other kitchen staff, service staff, and management.
