Prepare the menu as per the concept given by the executive chef, make standard recipes
Ensure that food products, presentation, and plating are of the highest quality, and are prepared to serve in a timely manner
Allocate work to subordinates, observe the working methods and productivity of assigned staff, assist them, and coordinate with senior staff to provide them with the necessary training.
Assist subordinates to meet the special needs of the guest
Assist with daily kitchen prep work and station set-up prior to service
Ensure adequate inventory and raw material supplies
Ensure menu and kitchen compliance as per SOPs
Supervise and inspect all cooking equipment on a regular basis to ensure that they are kept clean, sanitary, and in perfect operating order
Adherence to the code of conduct, safety policies and values of the organization
