Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie for various Hotels and Resorts in Kerala As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen and assisting in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of high-quality dishes. This is a mid-level position with a required experience of 4 to 6 years in the culinary industry. The job is located in Cochin, Kerala, India, and it is a full-time position.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a reputable establishment.
  • In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques and practices.
  • Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
  • Excellent knowledge of ingredients, flavors, and cooking methods.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and creativity in food presentation.
  • Team player mentality and willingness to collaborate.
  • Ability to adapt to changing menus and requirements.
  • Certification in Culinary Arts is a plus.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes in the assigned section.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and kitchen safety.
  • Assist in menu planning and development of new recipes.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff.
  • Coordinate with other kitchen departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor inventory and ensure proper stock rotation.
  • Follow and enforce all company policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to sanitation and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
  • Assist in the preparation of mise en place.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to achieve culinary excellence.
  • Handle any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the management.
