Prepare and cook a wide range of traditional and contemporary Indian dishes (North Indian/South Indian/Regional specialties).
Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all food items.
Oversee a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., tandoor, curry, or snacks) and assist in other sections as required.
Maintain proper hygiene and sanitation standards at all times.
Supervise commis chefs and kitchen helpers, providing guidance and training as needed.
Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages or issues to the Sous Chef or Head Chef.
Ensure proper storage and labeling of all food items.
Adhere strictly to recipes, portion sizes, and food safety protocols.
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new dishes or improve existing ones.
Help with inventory and receiving supplies when needed.
