Key Responsibilities
Prepare, bake, and finish bakery and pastry items as per recipes and presentation standards.
Maintain consistency in taste, texture, and appearance of all bakery products.
Supervise and guide Commis and trainees in the bakery section.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and inventory of bakery ingredients.
Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the bakery area at all times.
Coordinate with the Pastry Chef and Kitchen team for smooth daily operations.
Assist in menu development and contribute creative ideas for new bakery items.
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Bakery & Confectionery or Culinary Arts.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role in a reputed hotel or bakery.
Strong knowledge of breads, viennoiserie, cakes, and desserts.
Attention to detail, creativity, and time management skills.
Good communication and leadership abilities.
