We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Change and Implementation & Training Analyst Role Purpose The purpose of the Change and Implementation Training Analyst (Trainer) is to support our Global Business and Functions change programmes, to successfully define, deliver and embed that change, helping HSBC achieve its strategic goals in the relevant global markets. The role is instrumental in supporting the business to achieve benefits realization and returns on their change investments ensuring that our significant change programmes are considering all Training aspects (learning) which will lead to a smooth implementation and transition to BAU. This will include identifying and mitigating key change and implementation risks and helping identify opportunities for early realisation of benefits. They will participate in training and change networks and support a global team of change and implementation network members (training groups spanning 60+ countries), and contribute to the development of HSBC\'s Change & Implementation capability and deployment. They may occasionally lead other trainers and change analysts on projects and \'building function capability\' programmes. There will be instances when the Change & Implementation Training Analyst is actively involved in all Change Management activities, spanning from early change planning and audience analysis through to designing and delivering change interventions (e.g. communications, training, support, organisation alignment) and tracking and taking actions on change readiness, adoption and feedback. Also including, Implementation Management (e.g. planning, controlling and deployment). Implementation activities may also include managing implementation readiness and early stages of implementation. Success in this role will require flexibility, being able to cope and bring structure to ambiguous situations and problems whilst adapting to the needs of the business. They should be high in energy, have a sense of urgency, be driven and have the ability to learn quickly and assimilate information. Transformation : The role holder will work in Risk and Compliance Transformation (RCT) which manages the Change the Bank investment portfolio and associated transformation activity on behalf of and across the Risk and Compliance function globally. It is accountable for the global, cross functional change agenda, delivering mandatory/regulatory and strategic change programmes on behalf of Global Risk and Compliance, in partnership with regional teams and in support of business partner control needs. It designs, leads and delivers large scale, complex global change across multiple geographies and jurisdictions, impacting regions and business lines, including system, people and process changes, ensuring the change programmes adhere to the change standards laid out by HSBC and using mandated tools and methods. Risk and Compliance Transformation is part of the Chief Operating Office (COO) sub function which is responsible for providing services to ensure the efficient and effective management and operational running of the function. Function : The Global Risk and Compliance function has responsibility for risk management covering retail and wholesale credit, market trading and treasury, operations, security and fraud risk, climate, risk models and risk strategy together with financial crime and compliance. This is done in support of HSBC\'s regions and global lines of business. What you\'ll do : Principal Accountabilities: Value Creation Operational tasks Interpretation of system, process and procedural developments into potential training needs for end users and global \'Compliance\' staff members. Design and creation of systems, process and procedural training material for both remote and \'Face to Face\' channels. Chair stakeholder meetings across diverse business areas, functions, and countries. Develop training delivery plans that require complex multiple stakeholder management. Deliver training interventions (WebEx, VC, and F2F). Complete Training Logistics (course planning, MI reporting, audit requirements). Work confidently, efficiently and with mindfulness across 60+ Countries and their Project teams, Central L&D team, Learning & Translation vendors and the Global Education teams. Requirements What you will need to succeed in the role: Knowledge Stakeholder management and engagement (projects teams, the customer/business teams) Defining a Training, People and Change approach by working collaboratively with the business Ability to make instructional WebEx recordings Confidence with the language of technology and system development Ability to interpret how/where technical changes will create real life learning impacts for the end user Experience of training design for systems and process Knowledge and practical application of training theory Supporting projects/programmes to achieve positive outcomes and goals Training (identifying requirements, working with SMEs, building people capability) Developing communication plans, templates and activities (people, process etc) Managing, chairing or being an active member of Working Groups (or similar) from Change Management perspective Developing and supporting BAU transition (projects, people, teams) Strong publishing skills in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint Ability to develop basic Excel formula Personal attributes Can proactively question and be positive in challenging stakeholders to ensure technical solutions are ready for training Ability to stay calm and have patience with global stakeholders (sponsors, business stakeholders, global training teams, project and IT teams) being able to communicate with clarity (especially where English is not the first language) Shows respect and mindfulness in both day-to-day and challenging situations.
