Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Design, develop and implement the DD&IT engagement framework across all DD&IT functions and major locations. Maintain and enhance DD&IT collaboration platforms to ensure content and functionality is up to date
  • Drive the implementation of interventions of the Engagement Framework. This will include collaboration with appropriate stakeholders at Country and Regional levels, as well as Functional
  • Collaborate across DD&IT functions, partnering along with the appropriate representatives at Country and Regional level to highlight success stories as well as creating a deeper understanding of Novartis major markets
  • Build and lead the community of DD&IT Culture Activators. Conduct frequent change effectiveness monitoring and change readiness assessments and leverage insights to enhance the DD&IT change agenda
  • Proactively scan and analyse impact of the DD&IT transformation, large programs or key initiatives and changes on the business direction affecting the Change and Culture agenda. Identify and manage change risks and define appropriate mitigation activities
  • Support communication activities and ensure engagement is sustained, while partnering and leveraging the central Operations Communications team as appropriate.
  • Build strong relationships with industry analysts and strategic consultancies as to expand sources of insight and challenge successfully deliver select innovation and/or strategic change projects.
  • Develop an environment which cultivates a high-performance and innovative organization and drive in collaboration with P&O and communications cultural change efforts across the organization.
Minimum requirements

What you'll bring to the role:
  • 10+ years of experience in Internal Communications (pharmaceutical industry or healthcare agency preferred)
  • Master Degree / University Diploma or equivalent in Communications, Psychology, Political Science or HR would be a plus
  • Excellent communication skills (incl. superior verbal and writing skills)
  • Effective stakeholder relationship management - proven ability to build trust in stakeholders and influence decision-making.
  • Ability to mobilize internal communities with innovation, compassion and enterprise attitude
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential material with discretion and professionalism
  • Act as strategic communications advisor to Executives and Senior Leaders and collaborating with associates across all levels within the organization.
  • Proven experience in leading employee engagement strategies and programs
