Position Summary We are currently looking for a \'dynamic, results driven\' individual to join as a CFD Engineer at our Technical Centre India, Bengaluru location. In this role, the CFD Engineer will be primarily responsible for providing analysis support for Fuel injection components including GDI injectors, Hydrogen injectors, GDI high pressure pumps. Can be counted on to complete advanced, complex assignments requiring full use and application of engineering tools, processes, and methods. The person in this role must also demonstrate characteristics which foster team progress, show diligence in daily tasks, is able to collaborate with team members, takes the initiative to take on challenging assignments, and has the will and ability to create opportunities. Key Accountabilities: Perform 1D flow and 3D CFD analysis on fuel injection components for both liquid and gas injection application. Support current production and new programs globally for Fuel Systems Calibration of existing 1D predefined components and customization to fit for current and new product applications Improve 1D flow model capability and prediction accuracy using 3D CFD models Provide feedback from analysis results to drive design changes for system optimization Interpret customer requirements and propose design options to meet requirements Develop and publish best practices for simulation methodology using CFD tools Develop model/test correlation from the available model/test data Develop new methodology/tools to improve predictive engineering capabilities Write reports to summarize CAE projects Give presentations to internal and external customers Requirements & Qualifications: MTech/ME in Mechanical Engg. with specialization in Thermal/CFD engineering Experience in 1D flow, hydraulic multi-phase internal flow, Lagrangian spray modeling, engine fuel-air mixing is mandatory Working experience with 1D flow and 3D CFD solvers - AMESim, GT Suite, Ansys Fluent, Ansys Forte/Converge Working experience with CAD and meshing tools - UG NX/Spaceclaim, ICEM CFD, Fluent meshing/Ansys workbench.
