Roles & Responsibilities

:
Strategize and deliver operational and financial targets while ensuring enhanced safety, productivity, asset integrity, and optimal utilization of resources. Design and drive the growth strategy for the Iron Ore Odisha business (IOO). Optimize costs through operational excellence interventions across mining, mine planning, beneficiation, and logistics via the MDO (Mine Development Operator) model. Bring excellence in a multi-modal logistics environment to cater to domestic and export requirements by capitalizing on volume movement through road, rail, and ocean. Provide leadership in implementing Vedanta's ESG Framework at the location and ensuring zero harm. Champion digital interventions at IOO to achieve exceptional operational productivity and reduce man-machine interface. Groom and nurture young high potentials to take up significantly large roles in the organization. * Build and develop strong rapport with local stakeholders and government/legal bodies for smooth business operations and ensure statutory compliance related to the site location.
