, CDP(Pan Asian) plays a key role in delivering authentic, refined, and consistently high-quality Pan Asian cuisine. The CDP is responsible for managing their assigned section efficiently, maintaining the restaurant's culinary standards, and supporting smooth kitchen operations during service.
Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation & Service
Prepare, cook, and present Pan Asian dishes in line with Botanee's recipes and plating standards
Ensure consistency in taste, texture, portion size, and presentation across all services
Handle a la carte orders efficiently during peak hours
Execute dishes across Pan Asian cuisines such as Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Korean, and Southeast Asian
Section Responsibility
Take complete ownership of the assigned Pan Asian section
Plan daily mise en place and ensure readiness before service
Coordinate closely with Sous Chef, Head Chef, and other sections for smooth service flow
Quality, Hygiene & Safety
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene as per
FSSAI and internal Botanee SOPs
Ensure correct food storage, labeling, FIFO practices, and temperature control
Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times
Inventory & Cost Control
Monitor raw material usage and minimize wastage
Inform seniors about stock requirements in a timely manner
Assist with stock counts, portion control, and cost efficiency initiatives
Team Leadership & Training
Supervise Commis Chefs and kitchen assistants assigned to the section
Train junior staff on cooking techniques, recipes, and Botanee kitchen standards
Promote teamwork, discipline, and a positive work culture in the kitchen
Menu Development & Innovation
Assist the senior kitchen team with menu trials, new dish development, and seasonal specials
Suggest improvements in recipes, presentation, and workflow efficiency
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of Pan Asian cooking techniques and ingredients
Expertise in wok cooking, sauces, marinades, and plating
Ability to work calmly under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
Good communication, coordination, and leadership skills
Passion for quality, consistency, and innovation
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma / Degree in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management (preferred)
7+ years
of experience in a Pan Asian kitchen
Prior experience as CDP or Senior Commis in a reputed restaurant or hotel preferred

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
