Job Description

Food Preparation and Production:

Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes, menu guidelines, and specific station requirements.

Section Management:

Oversee the assigned section, ensuring consistent quality and timely service.

Inventory and Waste Management:

Manage stock levels, control waste, and ensure proper storage.

Hygiene and Safety:

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.

Teamwork:

Collaborate with other kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Menu Development:

Assist in creating new dishes and menu items.

Training and Mentorship:

May train and mentor junior kitchen staff.

Equipment Maintenance:

Ensure equipment is properly maintained and cleaned.

Assisting the CDP:

Support the CDP in all tasks related to section management and food production.

Quality Control:

Ensure dishes are prepared to the required standards.

Safety and Hygiene:

Adhere to food safety and hygiene procedures.

Efficiency:

Contribute to the efficiency of the kitchen operation.

Learning and Development:

Gain experience in various cooking techniques and restaurant operations.

Support Staff:

Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff.

Stock Control:

Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

Assist with cleaning and maintaining the kitchen and equipment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ?20,000.00 per month
