Supervise and manage the Chinese section, ensuring consistent food quality and presentation.
Prepare and cook a variety of Chinese dishes including noodles, fried rice, dim sum, stir-fries, soups, and sauces.
Ensure dishes are prepared according to standard recipes and portion sizes.
Maintain high levels of kitchen hygiene, organization, and safety.
Monitor mise-en-place and ensure readiness for service.
Train and guide Commis chefs in Chinese cooking techniques and presentation.
Control wastage and manage inventory effectively.
Coordinate with the Sous Chef and other sections for timely service.
Participate in menu planning and suggest new Chinese dishes.
Ensure adherence to HACCP and food safety guidelines
