Job Description

We are looking for a CCTV technician, who will be responsible for undertaking various pre-planned, reactive maintenance tasks and new installation works encompassing CCTV, and Security Systems equipment.Roles and Responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining, repairing, and replacing security cameras, computer networks, and other equipment used in video surveillance systems.
• Monitoring the operation of security equipment for malfunctions or other problems.
• Recording events on camera and storing footage in a digital format for later reference.
• Maintaining logs of security incidents and making sure they are reported to appropriate personnel.
• Responding to security breaches or other emergencies such as fires or medical emergencies.
• Operating computer systems that monitor surveillance camera feeds for activity.
• Installation and replacement of CCTV, Door Access systems and other security system hardware.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, troubleshooting of CCTV, Door Access Systems.
• Wiring and installation for security products (e.g., CCTV, Access Control, PA System).
• Provide corrective maintenance of deployed system such as card access, CCTV, intercom, security, network, server systems and etc.
• Familiar with CCTV, access control, alarm and other security system will be advantageous.
• Maintaining safe work environment at all times and have a good understanding of Health and Safety i.e., Method, Risk assessments, safe working procedures etc.

Requirements

• Demonstrate at least 1-year of previous experience as a CCTV technician.
• Demonstrate a general knowledge of security systems.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills.
• Must be willing to work away.
