The firm's Second Line of Defense (2LOD) is the independent risk management area comprised of Risk Management and Compliance (RM & C), responsible for developing and monitoring the execution of the risk governance structure.
The Second Line of Defense Central Document Management and Document Governance Group is a firmwide corporate function responsible for implementing and managing the firm's governance requirements for RM & C policies and standards globally. The group reports to the Head of Firmwide Regulatory Strategy and Policies and Standards Governance, who in turn reports to the firm's Global Chief Compliance Officer. The group is an area of increasing importance in the firm and in the industry, forming part of the firm's response to new regulations and guidance impacting specific businesses, initiatives, or regulatory registrations. The group's primary focus is policy and standards governance and document management practices for 2LOD.
Position Description
The RM & C Policies & Standards Adherence Governance Associate role entails supporting the end to end governance operating model activities related to capturing adherence / non adherence for where RM & C is required to establish processes and procedures. The role will report to the RM & C Policies & Standards Adherence Governance Lead and will be integral to helping implement the new governance operating model. The governance operating model will cover multiple RM & C areas globally across the entire organization and will include regular stakeholder interaction.
