About Commercial Banking Coverage Group

The Commercial Banking Group is responsible for delivering One Axis to clients with a turnover between Rs 10 Crs. to Rs 250 Crs. by offering products & solutions around forex, trade, payments, cash management and tax payments along with retail products like salary, trust services, forex, commercial card, credit cards etc

About the Role

The Commercial Banking Geography Sales Head leads a team of State Head and GCOs across the Geography . He/She will be responsible for driving the commercial banking business (Asset and Liabilities) for the Geography. The Commercial Banking business focuses on Asset and Liabilities requirement of the clients \xef\xbf\xbd mainly letters of credit, guarantees, trade loans, etc. along with products such as Trade & Forex solutions & Cash Management Solutions to name a few



Key Responsibilities

\xef\xbf\xbd Develop business relationships with Commercial Banking customers in the area to increase the top line, fee income and net interest income of the Bank

\xef\xbf\xbd Achieve targets set for individual products like Working Capital (WC), Bank Guarantee (BG), LC (Letter of Credit), OD (Overdraft), DOD (Demand Overdraft), Trade Forex, TOD etc.

\xef\xbf\xbd Establish and strengthen relations with key customers to enhance credit relationships and generate sustained business.

\xef\xbf\xbd Identify and convert potential customers who can be sold tailored products to enhance product penetration

\xef\xbf\xbd Deepen the existing relationships by cross selling liability and asset products to new and existing customers

\xef\xbf\xbd Maintain a healthy portfolio and monitor the delinquency rates of the portfolio

\xef\xbf\xbd Ensure optimal limit utilization by the clients

\xef\xbf\xbd Monitor proposals that come up for renewal be a Part of sanctioning process including LCC

\xef\xbf\xbd Interact/ Liaise with various other departments to ensure smooth delivery of credit as well as other services

\xef\xbf\xbd Ensure audit related deliverables, both internal and external are met as per the prescribed norms

\xef\xbf\xbd Ensure compliance with due processes and guidelines

\xef\xbf\xbd Create a performance-oriented environment leading to high employee motivation and productivity

\xef\xbf\xbd Ensure that all staffing requirements of the center are met and adequate training is given to the staff on the products of the bank, sales processes and various policies of the bank.

Qualifications

\xef\xbf\xbd Graduate/ Post Graduate with min of 5 yrs of people leadership experience and a total of 18-20 \xef\xbf\xbdYrs experience engaging with credit/sales functions

Role Proficiencies:

Knowledge of credit, banking products and services

\xef\xbf\xbd Ability to manage ambiguity

\xef\xbf\xbd \xef\xbf\xbdGood communication (both verbal and written) and presentation skill

\xef\xbf\xbd Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines

\xef\xbf\xbd \xef\xbf\xbdGood networking and relationship building skills
