About Commercial Bank Risk India: The Commercial Bank Risk India team is part of the Risk function for the Commercial Bank at J.P. Morgan. CBRI works closely with the in-country Underwriters and Credit Executives and provides them with in-depth credit risk analysis of clients; as well as recommendations on risk grades and exposures. This covers clients based out of North America for different Risk stripes within CB Risk:

  • Middle Market Banking and Specialized Industries
  • Asset Based Lending
  • Commercial Real Estate
Commercial Real Estate Services Analyst will provide concentrated focus on the proper execution of production support for several Appraiser\'s and Underwriter\'s across US Regions. The role will be key support in Abstracting, Reconciliation of pertinent information from Commercial Lease Agreements to quicken Appraisal and Underwriting decisions. Requires excellent collaboration with Sales and Appraisal teams to ensure there is high visibility and awareness of jobs in progress.

Job responsibilities:
  • Perform review of Commercial Leases, Rent Roll documents to Interpret & Abstract critical data\'s, Income & Expenses, leasing terms of subject commercial properties.
  • Compare & validate data to address any material discrepancies with rent roll.
  • Validate document / explanations submitted by Sales / Client to clear outstanding exceptions.
  • Always ensure that standard operating procedures are adhered to and are always updated.
  • Ensure adherence to the quality control standards, Perform Root Cause Analysis.
  • Analytical & demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy with completed work.
  • Update MIS/KPI on a daily, weekly or monthly basis & ability to prepare presentations .
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and skills:
  • Bachelor degree in Law, Commerce / Accounting preferred.
  • 4 years-6 years of experience in Commercial dept., Abstraction, Paralegal, Various loan documents preferred.
  • Candidate must be open to work in India evening / USA shifts.
  • Good Communication, Excellent interpersonal, Presentation & Ownership skills .
  • Must be flexible, excellent team player, and able to work effectively in a fast paced sales environment.
  • Ability to anticipate issues, escalate/clarify queries, work with limited supervision/instructions on assignments.
  • Strong knowledge of MS-office (Outlook, Excel) & PDF applications.
