We are looking for an experienced Category Sales Manager to spearhead business development in the label manufacturing industry, focusing on FMCG, Agro Chemicals, Liquor, F&B, and Home Care sectors. The ideal candidate will drive strategic account growth, build strong relationships with key decision-makers, and deliver tailored labeling solutions while managing full P&L ownership for assigned territories.
1. Roles & Responsibilities
Drive business development across FMCG, Agro Chemicals, Liquor, F&B, and Home Care sectors.
Build strategic account plans targeting high-potential brands and key decision-makers.
Lead end-to-end B2B sales cycles, from prospecting to negotiation and contract closure.
Conduct detailed need analysis to propose tailored labeling and packaging solutions.
Maintain strong relationships with Brand Managers, Packaging Heads, and Procurement Teams.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure solution alignment and timely delivery.
Track market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory updates to identify new opportunities.
Ensure achievement of revenue targets, pipeline health, and CRM data accuracy.
Report to Director with full P&L accountability for assigned territories and client portfolios.
2. Skills Required
10+ years of B2B sales experience in packaging, labelling, or related industries.
Strong understanding of FMCG and industrial packaging segments.
Proven ability in solution-based and consultative selling.
Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
Strategic account planning and business development acumen.
Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
Bachelor's degree (MBA/PG in Marketing or Packaging preferred).
Comfortable with extensive domestic travel (40-60%).
