About the Role
Catalog Management
As a Catalog Manager as part of RBS MVR (Mass Vendor Relations) Team, you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy for Amazon MVR. RBS MVR team is looking for a bright, customer obsessed, driven, and creative candidate to join our team. You will interface internally with leaders of MVR organization and will be responsible for all aspects of the vendor's business with Amazon. You will lead a team & ensure perfect onboarding of vendors as well as provide support on vendor management & operations. You will utilize a wide range of skills and work across major functional areas such as finance & operations, to drive the performance of strategic vendor partners at Amazon. This is a people manager role, you will be responsible for the team deliverables and developing and grooming talent within the team.
Responsibilities Include: - Success will be measured by the performance of your internal teams on input metrics and output metrics

  • Partnering with the Vendor Management Team and managing the vendor relationship by championing the vendor's needs at Amazon
  • Build strong communication channels at all levels, set proper expectations & provide clear status communications
  • Work with internal Amazon teams/vendors to improve operational aspects of their business in providing a great consumer experience
  • Conduct deep dive analysis on the handled issues for the vendors/vendor managers and publish recommendations and action plans based on data to improve vendor/vendor manager experience
  • Provide thought leadership around planning, roadmaps and execution
  • Support the launches of new programs, workstreams & features
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2+ years experience in program or project management
  • 2+ years of people management experience.
  • Experience leading process improvements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • An understanding of and passion for e-commerce
  • Relevant experience in Operations Management
  • Proven analytical skills and demonstrated ability to manage the business "by the numbers".
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills. Ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly. Demonstrated active listening skills, highly consultative and solutions-oriented
