Key Responsibilities: Database Management: Administer, maintain, and optimize Cassandra databases in an enterprise-scale environment. Database Deployment: Manage the deployment and configuration of multi-layered Cassandra databases, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance. Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure efficient data processing and low-latency responses. Data Modeling: Design and implement effective data models that align with business requirements and scalability needs. Security: Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect sensitive data, including user access controls, encryption, and authentication. Backup and Recovery: Develop and execute backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data integrity. Scaling: Plan and execute database scaling strategies as data volume and user demand grow. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve database-related issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain data availability. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, procedures, and best practices. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and data engineers, to ensure seamless integration of Cassandra databases into applications. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Cassandra Database Administrator in an enterprise-scale environment. In-depth knowledge of Cassandra database architecture, data modelling, and best practices. Proficiency in managing and optimizing multi-layered Cassandra databases. Strong command of Cassandra query language (CQL) and database commands. Familiarity with big data technologies and related tools. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Experience with data security and compliance requirements. Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
