Job Description
Job Summary - We are currently looking for the position of Cashier to handle daily cash collection and handling operation of Avishya Store at TTK Road Alwarpet. Roles and Responsibilities -
- Perform basic calculation functions to collect payments.
- Generate bills & payment receipts and hand them over to the customer and operate registers, scanners and credit card/debit card terminals.
- Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner.
- Maintain cash and coins of different denominations at counter
- Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
- Count money back to customer in an accurate and concise manner.
- Reconcile revenue and stocks at the end of the day ensuring revenue equals receipts.
- Manage transactions with customers using cash registers Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate.
- Ability to handle transactions quickly and accurately.
- Basic Computer knowledge.
- Good Communication.
- Pleasant personality with high customer service attitude.
- Previous experience in a retail store as a cashier.
- Ability to process coupons, refunds, gift cards and vouchers.
- Day shift
- Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
