We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently processing transactions and handling cash. Your friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and excellent math skills will contribute to creating a positive and efficient checkout experience for our customers. Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide them with a warm welcome.
• Scan and process items accurately and efficiently at the checkout counter.
• Accept cash, credit, and debit card payments and provide correct change.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Answer customer questions and provide information about products, services, and promotions.
• Resolve customer complaints or refer them to the appropriate supervisor.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth store operations.
• Upsell and promote store products and loyalty programs.
• Follow all cash handling procedures and policies to minimize discrepancies and errors.
• Stay up to date with product knowledge and changes in company policies.

Requirements:

• Graduate or equivalent.
• Previous cashier or customer service experience is preferred.
• Excellent numerical skills and ability to handle cash accurately.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly and approachable demeanor with a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
