Job Brief:

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our restaurant team. The Cashier will be responsible for processing customer payments, providing excellent service, and ensuring a smooth checkout experience. The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly with a positive attitude. Accurately process cash, credit and debit transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and efficiently. Issue receipts, refunds and exchanges as needed, ensuring compliance with company policies. Collaborate with staff for any queries Assist in maintaining inventory levels and reporting any discrepancies to management. Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe dining experience for all patrons. Perform end-of-day cash reconciliation and report any discrepancies.

Skills Required:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or a related field is a plus. Proven experience as a cashier. Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail for accurate cash handling. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive demeanor. Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric mindset. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
