An Electro-technical officer is responsible for the running and maintenance of the ship\'s electro-technical equipment. That includes everything related to the electrical generating plant, electronic/automated control systems, bridge navigational equipment and entertainment systems. We are looking for candidates who have a passion for our industry and are keen to have the opportunity to combine industry experience while gaining a Foundation Degree or HND in Marine Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Before you apply please make sure you hold the following: GCSE (grades 4-9) or Scottish Standard level (1-2) or the equivalent in English, Maths, Physics or Combined Science and at least one other subject Candidates must be UK or EEA citizens and be a resident in the UK for at least one year immediately prior to application and have the right to live and work in the UK without restrictions An equivalent level of qualification in Electrical Engineering (e.g BTEC National Diploma or GNVQ Advanced ) will be considered What We Are Looking For Carnival UK prides itself upon our greatest asset, our colleagues.
