The Role: Associate Editor, Voluntary Carbon Markets (Contractual Role)
The Team: S&P Global Commodity Insights is the leading provider of energy pricing, news and analytics. We are seeking an Associate Editor to join our Voluntary Carbon Markets pricing team, as part of the Global Energy Transition Carbon price reporting team. This role will be based in our Gurgaon editorial office, but other locations may be considered depending on the successful candidate. This role will report to the Team Leader for Voluntary Carbon and will be responsible for continuing to grow our voluntary carbon market coverage globally at this critical period in the energy transition.
The Impact: The global Carbon Pricing Team sits within the larger Energy Transition Group at S&P Global Commodity Insights and is responsible for developing and publishing key Platts benchmark assessments for the Voluntary and Compliance Carbon Markets, as well as working directly with both internal and external stakeholders in the development of low carbon benchmarks and carbon intensity methodologies across a wide array of differing commodities.

Maintaining Commodity Insights' competitive edge in this rapidly evolving space is of highest priority. The team is small and close-knit, which will potentially provide the successful applicant with opportunities to travel and to speak at high-profile conferences and Commodity Insights events. While this position is for a fixed period, it will be a good gateway into the broader Commodity Insights pricing team, particularly in the growing Energy Transition space.
