Ilmtech is a mumbai-based edtech startup.We focus on promoting e-learning solutions. We aim to serve educational institutions with hands-on technology and technology-based learning solutions across classrooms, libraries, innovation centers, and labs.

Unfortunately, Edtech has become just an alternate delivery mechanism for traditional education. Today, we have access to world-class resources and tools, yet we choose to stick to the same system & curriculum. At Ilmtech, we aim at tackling some of the biggest challenges of our country: unemployment, lack of awareness, digital illiteracy, and the dire need for creative leadership.

About the Program

We are building Moocable (https://moocable.com/) (a new product of Ilmtech) a cohort-learning software for colleges. On Moocable, students can study courses (hosted on Coursera, edX, YouTube, and more!) with their peers. No need to spend lakhs on boot camps! On Moocable, you can create/join study groups for free and build your tech career.

We\'ve just launched our v1 (https://app.moocable.com/) and are focused on partnering with colleges. We want to help college teachers integrate MOOCs into their curriculum (https://app.moocable.com/educator)

The overall objective of this internship is to help us partner with your college. In doing so, your college will have free access to our software, and teachers can integrate MOOCs into their curriculum.

Selected intern\'s day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Help spread the word about Moocable to your faculty, this could be your class teacher, any other preferred teacher, or the head of the department

Unlike most campus ambassador programs, you won\'t need to promote our brand campus-wide, you don\'t need to visit each class/department, nor talk to hundreds of students, your only goal is to talk to teachers. If the teacher is interested in our software, our team will arrange a meeting with him/her. From there, our team will talk to the teacher and take things further.

It is 100% okay if you don\'t have any communication/marketing experience. We will guide you and provide training and material to help you complete your goals. If you possess good communication skills and want to be part of this free, e-learning goal, we want to hear from you!

Learning opportunities

Moocable is a cohort-based learning platform. We deeply value mentoring and guiding our team. Apart from the experience of becoming our campus ambassador, you will receive two types of training:

1. We will conduct a training session to teach you everything about our platform/software and resources
2. You will also get the opportunity to have a 1-1 mentoring session with the founder. In this mentoring session, we will help you with roadmaps, interview prep, career guidance, and future internship opportunities

In addition, once your college partners with us, you will have free access to our app. You can create/join study groups on online courses or books. You can also find roadmaps (https://app.moocable.com/roadmap) for your desired field.

Who can apply

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. can start the part time job/internship between 8th Aug\'23 and 12th Sep\'23

2. are available for duration of 2 months

3. have relevant skills and interests

Other requirements

1. Candidates who are pursuing engineering degrees currently

2. Preferably in 3rd or 4th year of your degree

3. We are open to students from all engineering branches (civil, mechanical, electrical, computer, and more), across the country

4. Students pursuing degrees in other schools (B.A., B.Com, B.C.A, and more) can also apply. Although we give preference to engineering students, we will still consider your application

5. You don\'t need to be an extrovert or a public speaker. You will mostly be having 1-1 conversations with your teachers

6. You should have a computer/laptop and access to the internet

Selection procedure

There are two rounds of selection:

1. Application round: Our team will go through your application. We will look at educational background, extracurricular activities, prior internship experience, projects, and any certifications. If you pass this round, you will move to the interview round
2. Interview round: We will arrange a video call with you. In this call, we will learn more about you. You will get an opportunity to learn about Moocable and the internship.

After the interview round, we will send a notification about your acceptance/rejection.

Additional Information

Work hours:

1. This is a 100% remote internship
2. As stated, your primary responsibility is to help us connect with your college teacher
3. We will have a 1-1 video call once a week (on the weekend) to discuss your weekly progress
4. You will spend
5 hours per week (including the weekend calls)
