About Quark, BITS Pilani Goa

Quark is the annual technical festival of BITS, Pilani-K.K. Birla Goa Campus, one of the biggest festivals of its kind in India. From its modest beginnings in 2006, Quark morphed into a national-level festival in its 2008 version. Since then, Quark has consistently seen participation from all leading colleges across India. Quark usually features various events pertaining to the different engineering branches as well as the pure sciences. With a plethora of events to cater to students of varied backgrounds and disciplines, including a lecture by the eminent former president Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam, Nobel laureates like Sir Harry Kroto and Douglas Osheroff, events like the BITS Model United Nations and a number of diverse workshops organized by various eminent associations. Quark has carved a niche for itself as one of the biggest technical fests in India.

About the Program

Quark is BITS Goa's technical fest. It is one of the largest growing technical fests in the country, with participation from all 4 corners.

About the role: We are looking for a driven self-starter to join Quark BITS Goa as a youth marketing intern. An ideal candidate will be responsible for working on growth and publicity that is publicizing the fest, bringing in participants and deals for merchandise as well as database creation of the same.

The campus ambassador's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Create hype for the fest and the events of Quark BITS Goa in your college
2. Bring participants to Goa to attend the fest and have a lot of fun
3. Organize interesting workshops from top companies in your college giving you a lot of exposure
4. Come in contact with students from various colleges and help build a database for the same
5. Get deals on merchandise of your and nearby colleges to gain additional benefits

Requirements: Everyone with a valid college ID can apply for it.
