Job Title: Caf\xc3\xa9 Manager Overview:
As a caf\xc3\xa9 manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the caf\xc3\xa9, ensuring that it runs smoothly, efficiently, and profitably while providing excellent customer service. You will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining inventory, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Responsibilities:
  • Staff Management:
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and schedule caf\xc3\xa9 staff.
  • Set performance goals, provide feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Foster a positive work environment and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise among staff members.
  • Ensure that all staff adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Customer Service:
  • Ensure that customers receive prompt, friendly, and efficient service.
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and implement strategies to improve the overall customer experience.
  • Operations Management:
  • Oversee daily caf\xc3\xa9 operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the caf\xc3\xa9 at all times.
  • Manage inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or wastage.
  • Develop and implement cost-control measures to optimize profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
  • Financial Management:
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze financial data, and prepare reports for management.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Manage cash handling procedures, including deposits, withdrawals, and petty cash.
  • Marketing and Promotion:
  • Work with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional activities to attract customers and increase sales.
  • Utilize social media and other marketing channels to engage with customers and promote the caf\xc3\xa9.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and health standards.
  • Basic financial management skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Education:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A degree or certification in hospitality management or a related field is preferred but not essential.
