Oversee day-to-day cafe operations including opening and closing procedures.
Ensure smooth functioning of kitchen, service, and billing areas.
Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards as per company and FSSAI guidelines.
Monitor food preparation and presentation to maintain quality consistency.
Customer Service
Ensure excellent guest experience by maintaining prompt, friendly, and efficient service.
Handle customer feedback, complaints, and resolve issues effectively.
Build rapport with regular customers and promote a welcoming environment.
Team Management
Recruit, train, and supervise cafe staff including baristas, waiters, and kitchen assistants.
Prepare staff schedules and manage attendance, discipline, and performance.
Conduct team meetings and motivate staff to meet sales and service targets.
Sales & Profitability
Drive sales through promotions, upselling, and customer engagement.
Achieve monthly revenue, cost, and profit targets.
Control operational costs, wastage, and maintain optimum stock levels.
Inventory & Vendor Coordination
Monitor inventory of raw materials, beverages, packaging, and consumables.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely procurement.
Verify stock usage and minimize pilferage or wastage.
Reporting & Compliance
Maintain daily sales reports, cash reconciliation, and expense tracking.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, local laws, and safety regulations.
Report operational performance and feedback to Area/Operations Manager.
