Responsibilities:

Operations Management:
Oversee the overall functioning of the cafe, including food preparation, serving, and cleanliness.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Customer Service:
Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve any customer complaints or issues effectively.
Create a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere for customers.
Staff Management:
Recruit, train, and supervise cafe staff to ensure efficient operation and exceptional service.
Schedule staff shifts and manage payroll.
Inventory and Supplies Management:
Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed.
Oversee stock control and manage inventory rotation.
Financial Management:
Manage cash handling procedures and ensure accurate reporting of sales.
Track expenses and maintain financial records.
Menu Planning and Development:
Collaborate with the chef to develop and update the cafe menu based on customer preferences and seasonal offerings.
Monitor food quality and presentation.
Promotions and Marketing:
Implement promotional activities to increase customer engagement and drive sales.
Support marketing efforts to attract new customers and retain existing ones.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of cafe operations.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
