Our Systems Solutions Group (SSG) delivers tool, methodology, architecture, design creation, design verification and physical implementation expertise to enable leading edge customers to complete their most challenging SoC design projects. Our work spans from sub-blocks to full turnkey end-to-end SoCs. Our customers range from start-ups to industry pioneers, commercial companies and government agencies. Our customers develop SOCs for high-performance computing, automotive, aerospace & defense, and more.

We’re looking for a Sr. CAD Engineer to be part of our SSG CAD team and develop CAD solutions critical to our SoC Design projects.
Our Sr. CAD Engineer must have expertise in flow development and should be proficient in handling below tasks supported by SSG CAD Team

• Build/maintain an SSG “standard” flow used for our RTL-to-GDSII services projects. The flow leverages our Synopsys EDA tool reference flows, flow automation, DSO.ai and Metrics/Analytics.
• Support specific flow projects to plug-in and optimize the standard flow for design/foundry-specific requirements.
• Own optimization of the SSG standard flow to meet Automotive implementation requirements for our Automotive projects.

• Proven experience using Synopsys physical design and analysis tools and developing RTL-to-GDSII tool flows.
• Understanding of full flow (including front-end) to drive enablement of full flow.
• Proven abilities to optimize flows for productivity and design optimization.
• Abilities to work across teams and with R&D to optimize leverage of reference flows and provide feedback on future tool improvements and needs.
• Experience working in a customer focused environment with great communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• 6+ years of experience in developing RTL-to-GDSII flows for Synopsys tools.
