ROLE: CAD ENGINEER II - AUTOMATION

LOCATION: CHENNAI

What you can expect as an CAD Engineer II - Automation at Illumine-i:

\xc2\xb7 You\'ll prepare 2D CAD data and detailed manufacturing /general arrangement drawings.

\xc2\xb7 You should have good in understanding the designer/client requirement and need to create specific diagram/blocks efficiently.

\xc2\xb7 You are expected to have adequate amount of knowledge in referring the Data sheets to update/create drawings & include them in their libraries.

\xc2\xb7 You\'ll demonstrate good understanding in application of drafting and engineering symbols for electrical equipment.

\xc2\xb7 You\'ll should be able to plan their own work and provide the time estimation for the assigned tasks/project scope.

\xc2\xb7 You should be keeping records and maintaining files of all the produced drawings/documents as per the Guidelines mentioned from the respective team.

\xc2\xb7 You should execute the assigned tasks/project scope within the required KPI\'s.

Essential Qualifications include:

\xc2\xb7 Diploma/ Bachelor of Engineering in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical.

\xc2\xb7 Should have hands on experience in MS office applications.

\xc2\xb7 2-3 years in 2D Drafting/Designing with good knowledge in BricsCAD.

\xc2\xb7 Working Experience of CAD 2D drafting & its libraries.

\xc2\xb7 Able to create 2D blocks with high accuracy and fast turnaround times.

\xc2\xb7 Should be able to make sense out of large sets of data.

\xc2\xb7 Good understanding of external references.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to analyze CAD related conceptual design issues & provide solution for the same.

\xc2\xb7 Should have proficiency in creating & handling of Dynamic blocks.

Great to have:

\xc2\xb7 Good Mathematical skills & Reasoning Ability.

\xc2\xb7 Exposure to Electrical engineering basics & knowledge.

\xc2\xb7 Proficiency in VBA will be an added advantage.
