Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications
Participate in the full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design.
Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
Support, maintain, and document software functionality.
Identify and evaluate innovative technologies for implementation.
Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed.
Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical
requirements.
Consult with end users to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs.
BS or MSc in CS/Math or equivalent work experience
10 to 12 of years professional experience
Comprehensive knowledge and hands on experience in C/C++.
Experience developing networking and system software. Deep understanding of networking
protocols (e.g troubleshooting/performance analysis of TCP/IP and other network protocols)
Linux/Unix expert (good grasp of OS internals at the developer level, expert in configuration&
tuning)
Experience in at least one area listed below:
o have experience in developing and supporting NFS and SMB protocols.
o Building Linux kernel, experience with buildroot
o Experience with Storage protection, Disaster recovery and replication software
