Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for obtaining materials, components, capital equipment and services of a semi-routine nature
• Provide materials and supplies purchase orders, analyzes quotations, and expedites deliveries and shipments
• Understand, maintain and report weekly KPI's
• Maintain files with correspondence and records of current and potential suppliers, materials, prices, delivery dates and inventories
• Provide timely and cost-effective procurement of production goods according to company guidelines for cost, quality, and delivery
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure meeting delivery dates
• Manage PO releases daily/weekly to meet demand requirements
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships to review open action items, supplier's performance, forecasting of future demand and future cost reduction
• Maintain procurement process managing the purchase order based on demand changes with flexibility

Other Job Responsibilities

• Perform root cause analysis to expedite the resolution of service issues
• Handing shortage parts effectively by closely working with Supplier and SBM
• Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships
• Conducts purchasing transactions and negotiates pricing

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5- 8 years of related experience
• Experience of working in a purchasing team preferably within a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of principles and practices of purchasing, specifically relating to fabrication mechanical and outsourcing
• Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
• Flexible with Working Hrs for US Region : 3pm-12am, for Asia Region : 6am - 3pm

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with SAP MM Module
• Experience in the semiconductor industry or other technical industry is preferred
• Basic understanding of commodity market indicators and technical data
• Experienced in value engineering and lean manufacturing environment
• Commendable negotiation skills to achieve best value pricing and Ability to work autonomously and multi-task
